I released a new short visual novel! :D Making A Monster was created for The Only One of Any Asset (O2A2) Visual Novel Jam 2023 and Nonbinary Game Jam 2023, and I highly suggest you also check out the other entries that were submitted for both jams!

I'm proud of this one, especially art and design wise! I love how Loupe's room came out and I love Loupe's design too! I've been having terrible artblock lately and making this visual novel honestly helped me break out of it, especially when I started adopting "fuck it just have fun with it" as I was drawing everything. 

I had constant thoughts of "Gee I hope what I'm making comes across well" as I was developing and writing, which is kinda funny in retrospect. I still hope it does come across well since I had to keep deleting and adding words for the 1000 word limit. For some reason, I kept going over and kept having to cut down, which hasn't been a big problem when I did the previous O2A2 jams.

Big shoutout to my beloved partner Dan Vallerand for making the music track! Also for giving me some feedback on audio and gassing me up lol. Go check out his music or I'll eat all the food in your fridge.
