I love the art you did for this, it's so good and so accurate to the style those books taught. I'm not much of an artist (only picking it up as a hobby as an older teenager and even then, I'm not any good) but I've always had a fascination with “How to Draw” type books and the people I imagined to be behind them. This was a great demo and I hope that it gets a final version! Even if it doesn't, I'll be keeping an eye out for whatever you do next.
Art block happens to everyone, and from previous experiences, I think it can be caused by stressing about being perfect! I'm exited to see the full game! :D
I think what has struck me the most so far is THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION OF THIS GAME, HOLY **** (it's a children's book after all), IT WAS SO GOOD! The character design is amazing, the GUI is gorgeous, and everything was very reminescent of a how to draw manga book! And the drawing mini-game was SUCH A HIGHLIGHT OH MY GOD REN'PY SORCERY
Now, the story is interesting so far, it's a very unique take on the isekai trope! Sakura and Pigma are adorable and funny, and I'm curious about where this will lead to. I do hope Mica manages to gain some confidence about their work!!
Thank you for playing and I'm glad you liked the game! :D Honestly the drawing code floored me as well with how versatile and functional it is, so I'm glad to be able to include it!
Making the visuals was so much fun haha! Using old How to Draw Manga books as visual references was super nostalgic for me, same with using my old drawings and coloring the same way I used to, and I'm glad I'm able to convey that nostalgia in the end product!
Omg thank you for the kind words! I also have my old ones too and absolutely do not want to give them up either haha. Glad you like what I put out so far! :D
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I LOVE THIS ITS AMAZING THE DESIGNS ARE INCREDIBLE IM EMOTIONALLY INSIDE MY MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING DRAWING MANGA ON MY LUNCH TABLE WITH BROKEN COLORED PENCILS
The draw code????? The theming???? The message of the game???? I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH and its just a demo I LOVE IT SO MUCH ALREADY !!!!!!!!

It does reminds me of those old educational comics I used to read when I was a child <3
But with a more older humor~
Such a cute demo!! I loved the premise! I used to have one of those books as a teen too, hehe
Thank you so much for the kind comment! :D It's funny how a good portion of us grew up with these book, huh?
The protagonist needs therapy ;-;
