I Got Transported Into My How To Draw Manga Book!? [DEMO]
Mica (name changeable) is a burnt out art student wondering if pursuing art was a good idea. Stressed from incoming final projects they never were able to start, they fall asleep on a copy of a How to Draw Manga book they had when they were a teenager. Suddenly, they get transported into the How to Draw Manga book and meet the characters in the book, Pigma and Sakura. With Pigma and Sakura’s help, will Mica be able to draw to get themself home when their creative self-esteem is at its lowest?
A visual novel about learning to draw again. This demo of the full game includes:
- Two bad ends and one incredibly stupid bad end!
- A drawing minigame! (Skippable if desired!)
- Approx 3k words!
- Might not actually teach you how to draw manga.

Hi! This was so fun to play at, oh my God!!
I think what has struck me the most so far is THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION OF THIS GAME, HOLY **** (it's a children's book after all), IT WAS SO GOOD! The character design is amazing, the GUI is gorgeous, and everything was very reminescent of a how to draw manga book! And the drawing mini-game was SUCH A HIGHLIGHT OH MY GOD REN'PY SORCERY
Now, the story is interesting so far, it's a very unique take on the isekai trope! Sakura and Pigma are adorable and funny, and I'm curious about where this will lead to. I do hope Mica manages to gain some confidence about their work!!

Making the visuals was so much fun haha! Using old How to Draw Manga books as visual references was super nostalgic for me, same with using my old drawings and coloring the same way I used to, and I'm glad I'm able to convey that nostalgia in the end product!
